Stageworks Studios is home to three exciting performance companies, each offering unique opportunities for performers to train, grow, and shine on stage. These companies run independently from our weekly classes and provide high-quality rehearsal periods, intensive training, and full-scale productions throughout the year.

The Musical Theatre Youth Company
Exceptional Musical Theatre Training for Ages 9-18
The Musical Theatre Youth Company offers high-quality musical theatre training and performance opportunities for young people aged 9-18. The company rehearses every Monday evening at Stageworks Studios in St Neots.
Members receive technical classes across singing, dance and acting, developing audition technique, and working collaboratively to create a fully staged show. Every member of the company is valued, from ensemble performers to leading roles, and the focus is always on teamwork, training, and growth.

Producing Full-Scale Musicals with Professional Production Values
The Musical Theatre Company brings together performers to rehearse and stage large-scale musicals using professional West End sets, costumes, and technical design. Each year, the company produces a full production of a well-loved show, giving members the chance to experience industry-standard rehearsals and performance processes.
This company is ideal for committed performers who want to develop as strong, confident musical theatre artists.
Cambridgeshire Youth Ballet Company
Innovative Youth Ballet Productions Created for Young Dancers
Cambridgeshire Youth Ballet Company is an established pre-professional ballet ensemble offering a unique training and performance experience for young dancers. Cast members enhance their existing ballet training while broadening their skills through contemporary and lyrical styles, rehearsing original choreography created specifically for the company.
Each season, Cambridgeshire Youth Ballet Company stages abridged versions of classic stories, working with emerging choreographers to create exciting new works in a professional rehearsal environment. Rehearsals take place in St Neots, with opportunities for committed young dancers across Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas.

Dance Day
A day featuring a range of dance forms, such as lyrical and acro dance. Technical, flexibility and strengthening all in one.

You are welcome to attend any of the holiday events; you are not required to attend any of our classes.
Our Summer School here at Stageworks gives children the opportunity to
perform and enjoy dancing, singing and acting with the help of the summer school teaching team. The challenge is to produce a show to perform at the end of the week.
This year’s show is based on the smash hit DreamWorks animation
‘‘Madagascar’’. Join Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the hip hop Hippo and, of course, those hilarious, plotting penguins as they bound onto stage in the musical adventure of a lifetime.
Following these characters they have spent their whole lives in blissful
captivity before an admiring public and with regular meals provided for them. Not content to leave well enough alone, Marty lets his curiosity get the better of him and makes his escape, with the help of some prodigious penguins, to explore the world. We follow them all in their journey from their home in New York’s Central Park Zoo and find themselves on an unexpected journey to the madcap world of King Julien’s Madagascar. You can’t help but ‘‘Move it, Move it!’’
The course runs from 9am to 5pm daily (Friday is the performance day and will end at approximately 6:30pm). For working parents we also provide a
supervised drop off and pick up facility. Please request details.
All courses will be held at Stageworks Studios in St Neots, Monday – Friday.
