Stanley McElligott

An accomplished actor, writer and director, Stanley is a versatile creative with experience across stage, screen and new writing. His performance work spans classical and contemporary theatre, physical and experimental performance, and short film.
His stage credits include John Proctor in The Crucible, Father in Blood Wedding, Dave in Ill Met By Moonlight, Jacob in Vanishing Act, Player in To Eat and Cry For More, Man of Many Ties in Mouth on Fire and Pat/Busboy 3 in Trodgebottom. His screen work includes Tyler in the short film Bins with Virtie Pictures.
Alongside his work as a performer, Stanley has developed extensive experience as a writer and director, with a particular interest in creating original work and developing stories for stage. Most recently, he wrote and directed an original piece which was performed as part of the Camden Fringe Festival.
With experience in both creating and performing work, Stanley brings a broad understanding of the creative process, from developing an idea and shaping a script through to directing and performance. His varied practice allows him to approach theatre-making from multiple perspectives, making him a dynamic and engaging practitioner.
